Upcoming: Middle-To-End Cycle Charity Event
As a Gold Level Sponsor of this year’s 25th Anniversary Catlin End-To-End, Elbow Beach will, for the first time, be hosting the Middle-To-End Cycle Start at the main entrance of the resort property on May 5, 2012.
In a “Tour de Bermuda” style start, all Middle-to-End Cyclists will line up on the resorts oval driveway, and will then have to pass under the historical porte-co-chere at the front entrance of the hotel to officially start their journey. The official start time is 11am.
The first Middle-to-End Cycle event took place in 2002 with just 33 cyclists participating. By 2011, the event had grown to 238 participants. The event started at both Church Bay and the Bermuda College in previous years.
“The Middle-to-End Cycle event is our fastest growing area of participation, and we’re hoping to see more people than ever at this year’s 10th Anniversary of the event”, said Anne Mello, Chairperson of the End-to-End Board.
All of the participants who start at the official time will be eligible to win four prizes from Elbow Beach including:
- Four-Night Stay with Breakfast for Two plus 2 Two-Hour Time Rituals at The Spa at Elbow Beach
- Two-Night Stay with Breakfast for Two
- A 50-Minute Oriental Essence Massage at The Spa at Elbow Beach
