April 11, 2023

The Convex End-to-End is set to take place on Saturday, May 6th and registration is now open.

A spokesperson said, “The Convex End-to-End will take place on Saturday, May 6th, marking the 36th time the event has been held. Online registration is now live and anyone interested in participating can sign up at bermudaendtoend.bm/register.”

Mandy Shailer, Bermuda End-to-End Deputy Chair, said, “There are lots of ways to participate this year with a range of start times throughout the day. Look out for our returning favourite water stops, and new additions, which always add to the fun of the day! A full list and map can be found in this year’s brochure linked on the End-to-End website homepage.”

The spokesperson said, “Cyclists and walkers for the full 24.1 mile End-to-End event will start in St. George’s at 7:00am, while the 14 mile Middle-to-End participants will start at 10:30am at Point Pleasant Park in front of Point House in Hamilton.

“The Fun Walk & Cycle will start at 2pm from Beacon Hill in Somerset, and is a great alternative for families with small children, seniors, primary school students or anyone who would like to take part but can’t join for the full day. Our End-to-End-to-End cycle is back again this year as well for those that dare to cycle the full length of the island twice.

“Participants are encouraged to register early to receive a 2023 Convex End-to-End t-shirt and goodie bag. Pick up will take place from 8:30am to 5:00pm from May 1st to May 5th at the End-to-End event office in Washington Mall.”

Anne Mello, Bermuda End-to-End Chair, said, “This year we also have the Bermuda Pilot Gig Club Rowers participating again, leaving St. George’s from 7:00am as well as Rowers from the Bermuda Rowing Association, paddleboarders, and Opti sailors for the first time ever. What is great about the End-to-End is that all participants, no matter what route they choose to take, will end in Dockyard cheered on by the Town Crier, Power Girl and our fantastic volunteers with a big celebration at the end.

“Funds raised during this year’s End-to-End will go to the following charities: Bermuda Zoological Society [BZS], Gina Spence Productions, The Eliza DoLittle Society, The Skills Development Program, and Vision Bermuda.”
