Man Arrested For DUI After Striking Sidewalk
A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving this morning after colliding with a sidewalk on Crow Lane.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 12:45am on Tuesday May 15th, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision in the area of Crow Lane in Pembroke involving a motorcycle.
“It appears that the motorcycle was travelling along Crow Lane when it collided with a sidewalk. On arrival, officers approached the rider, a 37 year old Pembroke man who appeared to be intoxicated. He was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
“He later failed the alco-analyser test and was detained in police custody as a result. There were no reported injuries. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.”
