Meyer Appoints Cheryl Hayward-Chew As CEO

Meyer Group of Companies announced the promotion of Cheryl Hayward-Chew to Chief Executive Officer, in addition to her current role as President.

She assumes the role from her father, J. Henry Hayward, who remains Chairman of the Board. Meyer Group of Companies is a diverse business involved in shipping, freight, travel, tours, property development, technology services, and forensic accounting.

With the handover over of the CEO role from J. Henry Hayward to Cheryl Hayward-Chew, the venerable Bermudian company, founded in 1876, continues to position itself for the future.

Mrs. Hayward-Chew, who brings a strong business background, has led the Meyer Group of Companies’ operations for the past four years and the Meyer subsidiary, Meyer-Franklin Travel, for the five years prior.
