Bermuda Invitational Basketball Tournament
Over the last 13 years Bermuda has played host to girls and boys AAU basketball teams who came to play in the Bermuda Invitational Basketball Tournament.
The Bermuda Invitational has attracted teams along with family and supporters from the East, North East and Mid West Regions of the United States as well as, Ireland totaling 937 people over the years.
Organizer Allen Walker is pleased to announce that Legendary St. Anthony High School (N.J.) boys’ basketball coach Bob Hurley will return to Bermuda to conduct a free basketball clinic for Boys & Girls.
Also, returning is the Radiant Suns Boys Basketball Team from New Jersey who will play a series of basketball games against local teams in addition to participating in the clinic.
With over 1,000 career wins under his belt, five mythical national championships and one of only three high school coaches in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Coach Hurley will conduct the clinics on Monday August 6th, Tuesday August 7th and Wednesday August 8th from 9:00am – 11:00am.
The Clinics will be held at the Bermuda College Gymnasium. This is a free clinic open to all ages. I encourage all players who desire to advance there skills or individuals who are new to the game to come out.
