Bermuda Chess Players Head To Istanbul, Turkey
Bermuda will be represented by five people at the International Chess Festival “İstanbul Open 2012,” which will be held in İstanbul, Turkey from August 29th to September 9th.
Two Open Tournaments [A and B] will be made up according to the ratings of the participants. Besides this a Blitz Tournament will be held within the festival.
Bermuda will be represented by Clevert Bacchas, James Dill, Gary Cooper, Michael Radford and Jamel Warren.

Darn! This dropped right off my radar. We were supposed to be getting a women’s team together. Would have liked to go to Istanbul!
Me too..I missed out on Russia last year!That was a hot tournament! Bermuda represented well, with Larry getting international newspaper coverage on his stance! Good job Bermuda, I hope this team does well, I don’t see the names of players that went last year but, all the best!
