Chess: Bermuda Lose To Norway In Istanbul
The Bermuda team of Clevert Bacchas, James Dill, Gary Cooper, Michael Radford and Jamel Warren began taking part in the International Chess Festival in İstanbul, Turkey.
Bermuda opened their tournament going down 4 – 0 to Norway. Norway’s Elsness Frode defeated Clevert Bacchas 2498-1944, Hansen Torbjorn then defeated James Dill 2469-1923, Urkedal Frode next defeated Gary Cooper 2473-1893 and then Bae Torstein defeated Michael Radford 2420-1848.

No offense to the Bermuda participants, but they’re matched up against a different quality(better) of players, all 4 of the Norwegian players are rated as International Masters I believe. Sort of like amateur athletes versus professionals.
