City of Hamilton Hurricane Preparations

The City of Hamilton today announced the administration offices in City Hall will remain open throughout the day and close at 5pm this evening. City Hall will be closed all day on Saturday, September 8.

A spokesperson said: “The public is advised the last City garbage collection will be on Saturday at 11:00pm. In the interest of public safety, all City bars and restaurants are strongly advised not to put out garbage after the last pick up on Saturday evening. There will be no garbage collection on Sunday.

“The City of Hamilton will advise the public when services will return to normal”
