Cricket: Somerset Win Old Boys Match

The Harris Bay and Somerset Old Boys 61st Annual Cricket Charity Game was played on Thursday, September 6th at the Somerset Cricket Club, with the Bermuda Heart Foundation selected as the charity recipient.

The Somerset Old Boys batted first and scored 160, captain Jeff Richardson was the top scorer with 31, while Dennis Wainwright Jr. took 5-35 to lead the Harris Bay Old Boys attack.

In reply William Weldon scored 44, but he could not prevent the Harris Bay Old Boys from falling 32 runs short of their target as they were bowled all out for 128, Vance Gilbert took 4-30 to lead the Somerset Old Boy’s to victory. Final score: Somerset Old Boy’s 160 Harris Bay Old Boys 128.
