These ferries are catamarans that should easily handle the waves in the Sound. This is not open ocean, it’s the protected Sound. Just sayin’….

Was there any reason that Marine & Ports could not have made this announcement earlier? Many people were left standing waiting for the ferries this morning with no notice. It’s ridiculous that no one in that department can get their act together……….those ferries could have easily gone out as scheduled this morning. That’s what they were made for. Pitiful !!!

While we in Bermuda have minor issues from Sandy, can we please pray for the Tall Ship “THE BOUNTY” that was here in Bermuda, as it’s just being reported in US News as some crew are missing and some were rescued. Maybe BERNEWS can pick up on this story and report it, as ” The Bounty” was very popular when it was a part of the fleet that came to Bermudawith the Tall Ships. Thanks
