Shequita Parsons Appointed To CFU Committee

The Caribbean Football Union (CFU) has appointed Shequita Parsons to the CFU Women’s Football Committee. CFU is the 25 country union of Caribbean countries.

Ms Parsons is a long standing elected Executive Member of the BFA. She has represented Bermuda at international meetings of football and FIFA Congresses over the many years including in Zurich and South Africa. Additionally, she has acted as Head of Delegation for several Bermuda National teams as they competed in regional tournaments throughout the Caribbean.

Ms Parsons — a teacher — also a BFA Match Commissioner and can be seen on duty at local football matches throughout the island every week during football season. She will soon be attending a CONCACAF Match Commissioner’s course in Miami.

A statement from the BFA said: “The BFA and Bermuda can be proud that Shequita has been appointed to the CFU Committee as it continues to show that Bermuda football officials are respected for our professionalism and administration of the game. It also demonstrates that our BFA officials represent football at the CFU, CONCACAF and FIFA levels.”
