Basketball: Wildcats & St. George’s Win
The Bermuda Basketball Men’s Elite League continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a double header this weekend.
In the opener the Smith Wildcats defeated the Hamilton Tsunamis 69 – 59. Jason Simons scored 29 points to lead the Smiths Wildcats to victory, while Graham Robinson scored 27 points for the Hamilton Tsunamis.
The final game of the evening saw the St. George’s Internationals defeat the Southampton Titans 73 – 46. Johnny Lugo scored a game high 38 points to lead the St. George’s Internationals to victory, while Richard Warner scored 19 points for the Southampton Titans.
