Bermuda Goodwill Golf Round #3 Results

The 60th playing of the Bermuda Goodwill Pro-Am Golf Tournament continued on Thursday [Dec 6] at the islands golf courses. 50 teams from overseas have traveled to Bermuda to compete this week.

Round three finished under surprising good weather conditions, with the overseas players expressing surprise they were playing golf in shorts and shirts oply two weeks before Christmas.

Junior Men’s Team Division

NET – After round three, the National Golf Club of Canada “B” has taken the lead after firing an 11 under par 59 at the Tuckers Point Club. The over night leaders, Hi5Golf out of Canada, have dropped back to second place 1 shot off the lead at 31 under par total. Last years division winners from Woodland CC are in 3rd place and only two shots behind the leaders.

GROSS- The Performance Academy at Magna continues to lead the field in the gross division and have extended the lead to 6 shots and are 19 under par total. Hi5Golf is in second place also while Hidden Valley Golf Club and Rhode Island Golf Club are in 3rd and 4th respectively.

Senior Men’s Team Division

NET –The Par 5 Club from Bermuda have continued their fine play and extended their lead to 3 shots after shooting a blistering 57 at the Tuckers Point Club. Mississaugua Golf & CC “B” are tied for second place at 29 under par with Oshawa Golf and Curling Club and Bellewood Golf Club

GROSS- Par 5 Club out of Bermuda are also leading the gross division at 17 under par and are 4 shots ahead of nearest rivals the Lakes Golf & CC. In 3rd place are Oshawa Golf and Curling Club with Mississaugua Golf Club “B” in 4th.

Ladies Team Division.

NET – The Riddell’s Bay ladies from Bermuda are continuing to lead their division and have a 3 shot lead over the local Mid Ocean Ladies. Riddell’s Bay have a 3 day total of 27 under par while the Mid Ocean Ladies are at 24 under par. The ladies from Lambton Golf & CC and the ladies from Toronto Golf Club are in 3rd place with a total of 17under par each.

GROSS – The Mid Ocean Ladies extended their lead by 3 more shots today to give them a total of 11 under par for the tournament. Riddell’s Bay Ladies are in second place with 5 under par and London Hunt Club is in 3rd with 2 under par.
