Another Gale Warning Issued For Tonight
The Bermuda Weather Service issued a Gale Warning valid for late tonight [Jan 1] through to Wednesday evening. A Small Craft Warning is also in effect until Thursday.
The forecast says: “High pressure sliding by our south today brings mainly dry conditions. Winds increase strong to gale force late tonight as a cold front sinks towards the area from the north.
“A few showers arrive by Thursday as winds decrease and veer northerly. Winds increase Thursday night and the front will move away later on Friday.”
Tonight the conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy, with winds west-southwesterly increasing to gale force overnight. The low is forecast to be near 17°C/62°F.
