Mirrors Programme Free Parent Workshop
The Minister of Community and Cultural Development Wayne Scott today announced that the Mirrors Programme is holding a Free Parent Workshop “specifically designed to help motivate and empower adults to be more effective with their young people and other youth in their community.”
The Parent Workshop is an interactive programme which runs for two and a half days, the Ministry said. Benefits of the programme include having a renewed appreciation for self and what it means to be a parent, new ideas on how to effectively work with young people and a sense of empowerment and confidence in producing improved results.
The Parent Workshop is being held at The Fairmont Hamilton Princess on Friday, January 18th from 6.00pm – 9.00pm and Saturday and Sunday, January 19th and 20th from 9.00am – 6.00pm. Spaces are limited and those interested are asked to contact Jennifer Ross at The Mirrors Programme on 294-9291 or jaross@gov.bm to register.

This can’t be the same programme that the OBA said the PLP cut…. Say it ain’t so.
OBA, in time all of their lies will be exposed.
Show us where the OBA stated that the Mirros Programme would be cut. I can show you where, in the last budget, the PLP cut the Mirrors funding by a $1 million.
The only lies being exposed are yours.
Can you copy and paste the article please? Like the oba would cut future care right? I think you missed a few key words. No wait, I know you missed a few key words. If you’re going to complain, at least let it be a legit complaint. I have one of my own with the oba but I’m biding my time to see how it plays out.
still sucking on those lemons eh?
Good job!
@ OBA Liars: No-one ever said that the Mirrors program was cut. The complaint was that Mirrors FUNDING was cut. That is a matter of record.
Please stop trying to spin the truth.
@ Come Correct: Let me guess. You want the OBA to either legalize or decriminalize marijuana. Surely you will agree there are more urgent issues to be dealt with than a recreational drug.
Pastor is correct on each point, including recreational drug use. However, the point of the article is help for those that either don’t grasp the real responsibility of being a parent, or those that can that can take advantage of some of the parenting tips in order to raise healthy happy children.
Lol that’s funny, no Pastor thats not it this time, there are more pressing issues. It does however have something to do with the MP who brought it up the other day. I’d rather some jobs created first so people can feed their families and take care of their bills. I’d like the government to find ways of increasing revenue streams so they can supply more funding to programs such as Mirrors. Plus if I’m looking at police and fire I’m going to have to sacrifice that.
