Live Screening Of Nahki Wells Game At CBA
On Sunday [Feb 24] there will be a live screening of the Bradford City vs Swansea Capital One Cup Final at CedarBridge Academy.
There will be a traditional Bermudian codfish and potato breakfast available for $10, with 100% of proceeds being donated to the Dandy Town youth football programme – Nahki Wells former club.
The event will be hosted by Veterans In Action and produced by Startime, and doors will open at 10am. There will be free giveaways at halftime of items including gift vouchers, football jerseys and more.
The event is open to families, and there will be a fun castle for the little ones. Sponsors include BBC, WOW, Digicel, Western Union, Bermuda’s Best, Sea Venture and Somers Supermart.
The 22-year-old Bermudian is set to join an elite group of footballers who have played at the prestigious Wembley stadium, with his Bradford City team the first League 2 club to reach the Cup Finals for some 50 years.
