Saturday’s Harness Pony Racing Results
Harness Pony racing at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street on Saturday afternoon [Feb 9] saw Keira Whitehead in the bike of Ribbons & Pearls won Heat 5 the 1:0/2 – 1:08/2 Time Bar Class clocking 1:07/2, while Vain Waldron and Night Nurse finished second with a time of 1:09/1.
Kiwon Waldron drove Mercedes Spence to victory in the 1:08/3 – 1:10/3 Time Bar Race clocking a time of 1:09/4, EJ Carreiro and Hott Gossip finished second with a time of 1:10/1 and Colonel’s Finest with Joe Vieira in the bike finished third clocking a time of 1:10/2.
Captain Chaos and Maurice Raynor won Heat 1 the 1:05 – 1:06 Time Bar Race clocking a time of 1:06/3, while Nite Dreamer and Tyler Lopes finished second with a time of 1:07 and Real Ladylike with Lindsay Sousa in the bike finished third with a time of 1:07/1.
