“This yearly event, held for children from Government preschools, once again brought families together for an afternoon of activity and celebration. As in previous years, all Government preschools were invited to attend.

“The afternoon featured face painting, a fun castle, games, and the Easter egg hunt, along with a special visit from the Easter Bunny, who danced with the children and added to the atmosphere.

“The Premier expressed his thanks to the Cabinet Office staff, public officers, and local vendors who supported the event and helped ensure its success.”

The Premier said, “For those who observe, Easter marks the Resurrection, and it also comes at the time of year when everything begins to feel new again. Seeing the children out today, enjoying themselves and taking part in this tradition, is part of what makes this day meaningful. I thank everyone who helped to organise this event and make it possible each year.”

  1. Wow. says:

Time for a rethink.Postpone the sugar event for 5 years and let clubs do it. Use that money and more for extra lessons and teacher training to boost teaching skills. That’s what’s needed or we will have an increase in Easter Dummies. Job and scholarships are diminished with recent scores and fights.
