Seminar To Improve Sales Presentation Skills
For business people looking to improve their sales presentation skills, to speak more effectively in meetings or from the platform, the Chamber of Commerce is hosting a full day workshop on Friday March 8th.
The workshop is being conducted by Jan Fraser, who has been a professional speaker for 20 years.
“I used to be shy and afraid to speak up in a group. But with a few simple techniques, I was able to overcome my fear of speaking and feel comfortable and confident sharing my ideas and thoughts with others”, says Ms. Fraser. “Now I make my living from speaking”.
‘This workshop will cover everything from turning nervousness into energy, to how to speak ‘off the cuff’. We also cover local cultural issues, such as why ‘Good Morning’ is not the first thing you should say in front of a group; and eliminating Ums, Ahs, and even Um Um’s from your presentation”, she added.
Each participant is video-taped and is given personalized tips to improve their speaking style. To ensure this personal attention is given to each participant, the workshop is limited to 10 places.
The fee for the seminar is $447, which includes lunch. The event takes place at the Chamber of Commerce, Albouys Point, Hamilton, from 9am to 4pm on Friday March 8th.
