Digicel Squash Championship Draws Released
The draws for the 2013 Digicel Bermuda National Squash Championships were released today [Mar 13]. Micah Franklin is top seed for the Men’s event whilst Runa Reta is favorite for the Ladies title.
A spokesperson said, “In the Men’s Veterans event it’s hard not to see a Brewer with Jan Richard and Murray occupying the top 3 seeds. The Ladies Veterans see’s some newcomers attempt to take on top seeds Denise Kyme and Liz Martin for a shot at the title.
“Play for the majority of matches starts on Sunday March 17th which is of course St Patrick’s Day. We are hoping to take advantage of this and turn the squash club green with a St Paddys Day party.
“The BSRA now has draught Guinness available and we will be supplying all the players with some hearty Irish stew on Sunday afternoon so please come down to watch some fantastic squash.”
