Egyptian Military Plane Stops At LF Wade Airport

An aircraft from the Egyptian Air Force was spotted at LF Wade Airport at just past noon today [Mar 29], and it departed later this afternoon. Planes from the Egyptian Air Force — the largest in Africa and the 11th largest in the world — stop in Bermuda occasionally, with this the third one we have seen in recent months.

    Most of the Egyptian C130′s are on their way to being 35 years or more old.
    Many Bermudians may remember an incident at Bermuda where the brakes seized on a C130 of the EAF just prior to take off forcing all flights due in to abort.
