‘Maximising Returns In Low Yield Environment’
AFL Investments will host a free ‘Maximising Returns in a Low Yield Environment’ hour-long seminar as part of its Lunch & Learn series. It will be held on Wednesday, March 20, at 12.15pm in the Argus Training Centre.
The seminar will explore recommended strategies and approaches for investing in the current economy. It will cover why cash in your portfolio could be a bad thing at this present time, how to protect your assets against inflation and deflation, as well as how to identify other potential risk areas to monitor.
The session will be presented by Bill McKay [pictured], CFA, Lead Portfolio Manager to AFL Investments and the Cidel Financial Group in Toronto, Canada. Mr. McKay has over 20 years of senior-level experience providing advice on asset allocation, portfolio construction and security selection at Cidel, and prior to that, at UBS in Canada. He has a wide variety of experience in equity and fixed income analysis, foreign exchange and structured products.
