Photo Set #1: 2013 ‘Dash At Dark’ Race Night

The MAAC Pro Shop Dash at Dark race event took place at the National Sports Center tonight [Mar 8] under windy, cold and sometimes wet conditions. Juniors 4-5 ran 400 Meters, 6-7 ran 800 Meters, and 8-12 ran 1 mile with the girls and boys running separately in each age group.

The night kicked off at 6.30pm with the 4 & 5 year old junior girls 400 Meter run which Deshae Cann won in 1:47.3, Chloe Botelho was second in 1:53.8 and with a time of 1:56.3, Imojen Judd placed third. In the girls 6-7 age group, Yazari Simons placed first with a time of 3:18.7, Shemya Deshields came second in 3:20.9 and Asia-Leigh Hollis rounded up the top three in 3:25.4.

Jade Johnston won the girls 8-9 age group in 6:14.3 while Jessica Bruton placed second in 6:22.2 and Tilda Norman came third in a time of 6:27.7. In the girls 10-12 age group, Ashley Irby placed first in a time of 5:31.9, Lynsey Palmer came second in 5:41.5 and Messiah Greaves placed third in 5:55.3.

The boys 4 & 5 year olds saw Malachai Belboda win in a time of 1:46.1, Olek Rymon-Lipinski placed second with 1:48.4 and Nayan Grant placed third in a time of 1:49.9. Harry Twite won the boys 6-7 age group in 3:07.3 while Jayson Simons placed second in 3:07.9 and Tre Burgess placed third in a time of 3:09.9.

Kahzi Sealey won the boys 8-9 age group in 5:58.1 while Seth Hardtman placed second in 6:02.6 and Daniel Cook came third with a time of 6:04.3. The 10 – 12 year old boys saw Sajan Harvey place first in 5:22.1, Jayden Ming placed second in a time of 5:27.4 and Robert Edwards placed third with 5:29.8 on the clock.
