Upcoming: National Trust Palm Sunday Walk

March 16, 2013

The Bermuda National Trust is preparing for its annual Palm Sunday Walk on March 24 at 2pm, a five-mile trek across Devonshire Parish through parts of Bermuda you would not normally get to visit.

The walk will highlight places of cultural interest and beauty. Parking for the event is at Elliot Primary School Field, Hermitage Road, where the event will start but space is limited so the National Trust is asking walkers to carpool.

A National Trust spokesman said while all are welcome, the route is not suitable for baby strollers. Participation is free, however, donations are greatly appreciated. This event is sponsored by the Argus Group. Cold drinks donated by John Barritt & Son will be served at the rest area and at the finish. Participants are being asked to bring a container.
