25-Year-Old Man Arrested For Suspicion Of DUI
A 25 year old man was arrested on Friday evening [Mar 29] on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after police officer spotted him driving at high speeds and swerving over the center-line
A police spokesperson said, “At 9:55pm on Friday Officers were on mobile patrol in Hamilton Parish when they noticed a driver, operating his vehicle at high speeds and swerving over the center-line.
“The vehicle was stopped by police in the area of My Lord’s Bay Road. Officers then spoke to the driver of the car and it was at that time they smelled alcohol on the suspect’s breath. The 25 year old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and later bailed to appear in court in the near future.
