38-Year-Old Man Faces Sexual Assault Charges
A 38-year-old man appeared in Magistrates Court today [Apr 7] facing sexual assault charges. The charges alleged sexual assault and interfering with a young girl whose date of birth was listed in 1999.
The three charges alleged that there had been unlawful activity involving his inappropriate touching of the girl between January 2010 and December 2012. The matters were first brought to the attention of Police in January 2013.
The man — who cannot be named for legal reasons — pleaded not guilty to the charges. Senior Magistrate Archie Warner set bail at $10,000, required a surety, and directed that the man was not to interfere with the complainant.

@ Ride!! I agree there is way to many cases of this here lately, and I do know that in some cases these young girls are flaunting there little bodys in order to sleep with older men but these men should be frigging shot or be casturated because they are the adults and they know better. you can look into these little girls faces and see they are just children. These $astards are nasty as hell and I swear to Jah if some man ever touches my daughter I will be going to jail and not co-ed either. These cases just make me sick and Government pisses me off too because they will not expose these a$$holes once they have been convicted, thats why most of theses fools are repeat offenders. Something really needs to be done about Bermuda laws. smdh!!!

Warner should be banned from hearing these cases. He has a deplorable track record of insinuating that these children were somehow responsible for grown men taking advantage of them.

It says the child was born in 1999 so that means she was eleven, so so sad.
