BBFS Girls Football Festival Second Day Report

The inaugural Bermuda’s Brazilian Football School [BBFS] International Girls Football Festival saw two matches being played and the BFA National Academy hold trials for players born in 1997-1998 on the second day.

The opening rounds were played under wet and windy conditions but gradually improved. The second day saw both matches end in a draw, as Bermuda’s U15′s managed to hold BFS Guelph and Fergus U13′s to a scoreless draw. Both teams controlled various phases of the match but were unable to convert their limited goal-scoring opportunities, into the net.

The match of day was played between FC Virginia vs FC Fusion [Monte Verde Academy]. Monte Verde went ahead early in the match via Samantha klein scored in the first half. FC Virginia replied Cachia Kwitneski to end game 1-1.

The day ended with more than 20 BFA female trial players showcasing their talent in front of BFA Men’s Senior Coach Andrew Bascome, Academy Director Richard Todd, Senior Women’s Coach Naquita Dill, U17′s Coach Aaron Denkins and U12′s Women’s Coach Shawnette Perott.
