  1. Family Man says:

    Here comes another concurrent sentence.

    • Zombie Apocalypse says:

      Right. Another waste of time.

    • Pickup says:

I hope at the very least this will scrap any possibility of parole for these four criminals since this would appear to be a big “X” in the good behavior column.

These guys are getting out way to early!

  2. DarkSideofTheMoon says:

I hate that this — guy [Khamisi Tokunbo] is still a judge….

  3. tricks are for kids.... says:

Knowing that they have had no form of mediation why would you give opposing sides ‘yard time’ (not sure of correct prison term) at the same time? IJA……

    • Verbal Kint says:

Good point. This is a disturbing and growing trend.

      • Family Man says:

Hey, I’m all for it. Once gambling is approved we can sell tickets and make a book on it. Raise a little money and possibly reduce long term costs by eliminating some garbage at the same time. I call that a win-win situation.

  4. Nuffin but da Truth says:

    5 years SOLITARY.

    • Pickup says:

I agree – if even after your are locked up you don’t appreciate your time in the yard with other humans and can’t behave like one- perhaps you will appreciate it some more if you spend some time in solidary confinement like a caged animal.

  5. peer says:

ya why do you take them to court & nothing happens?? concurrent sentences just means they can get away with it again!something needs to be done!

  6. kat says:

It takes four guys to beat one! Bunch of punks and now you think you are tuff. Bunch of sissy’s

    • Bubbles says:

Pipe down you aint talkin bout s$%t! And you wouldn’t say that to their faces so spare your opinion until next time!

      • why is it that our blacks are fighting blacks while the white is just sitting back & laughing. come on my black people because SOON there isnt going to be none left. its so sad, what the hell went wrong. what happen to LOVE THY NEIGHBOR. ITS SO HEART BREAKING DAM.

  7. what ya dumb says:

Why are inmates fighting anyway in prison? Is there a prize or something for proving you are a “bad boy” even in prison? Surely by starting fights and trouble etc. you are going to get and do more time if found guilty? That is so dumb.

Obviously no constructive programmes in place and not enough officers to oversee the prisoners. Wsting more of my my damn hard earned money by keeping the scum bags in jail longer.

Ship them out to Mexico, Cuba, Russia or any of the hole in the whole, gotta fight to survive prisons to show them what real jail is like.

  8. What? says:

Harford does not want to get out of jail! It MUST be someone up there he’s sticking around for!

    • Bubbles says:

Don’t be a living a#s! This is such an ignorant statement! Just because you’re accused doesn’t mean you’re guilty! And just because you’ve been imprisoned does not make you a monster!

Until you know a someone you can never fairly assess them! So kindly STFU!

      • i AGREE WITH YOU BUBBLES, SOME PPL JUST HAVE A WHOLE LOTTA RAY RAY TO GO WITH BUT THEY NEED TO LOOK @ THIER OWN BACK YARD & SHUT THE —- UP & YES HARFORD IS MY COUSIN.

        • What? says:

And? What does him being your cousin have to do with the fact that he is a jail bird? He loves jail! And that’s a known fact! This isn’t his first offense since serving time for what he’s really in there for! He’s had time put on top of time before! So you’re going to tell me shut up because he’s your cousin?! Grow up and base your comments on fact and not emotions please!

      • What? says:

I have reason for saying what I said. Don’t like it, YOU shut up! And I don’t mean kindly…

    • U R TALKING PURE ABBA JABBA SHUT THE —-UP U ARE SO NARROW MINDED & I HOPE YOU DONT EVER END UP IN WESTGATE PUNK A#S U R ALL MOUTH

  9. Smdh says:

I’d be curious to know at the very least if these prison assualt offenders that end up getting concurrent sentences if found guilty (so essentially no punishment) get their offences and behaviour taken in to consideration when they are up for parole? You would think then at the very least that if the Magistrates aren’t going to tack on more jail time (and they should), and if these guys aren’t being thrown in to solitary (which they should), then they should be denied parole for their original offense.

    One can hope….

  10. nok says:

I wanna know what would happen if they assaulted a officer.Caz our system is terrible. Our the courts simply don’t value prisoners lives.

  11. Pickup says:

Correction – our courts don’t value the lives of the victims of these criminals crimes! Screw these criminals lives! Consider what many of them have done,(kill, rape, steal, molest) and how they have destroyed the lives of many – I say let them rot. By the way one is my brother and another my cousin. Their poor decisions were their own and not a reflection of their family life.

    • Bubbles says:

Listen @ pickup you sound like an Uncle Tom! That’s what’s wrong with black peoples mindsets so quick to disregard/disown their own people! The WHITE man has drilled this way of thinking into US black people! But, do we say f$#% the white man who destroyed my ancestors and my future generations forthcoming?! NO we do not! Instead of tearing down these people offer them a supportive hand because they are suffering

      • SMH says:

        Second that!!

      • gaza yout says:

Nah you got it twisted sister. Part of ya mindset is bringin us down. The last sentence by pickup is de truth. real talk. Example: If so and so was ya bra n did ya cousin in you wouldn’t condemn it?! Dat messed up!

        • Bubbles says:

Pickup last sentence is the only truth to his judgmental point of view.

What’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong!

But I also know if you stick your hand in a lion’s mouth expect to get bitten!
And “gangsters” are the real ones suffering. They have such a huge void within themselves they seek the street way of life where they find false hope, love and support and end up either dead or in jail!

Instead of tearing down one another we NEED to be united!

Black people are always pointing the finger! Family or not black people lack supportive mentalities towards their own kind!

  12. tidbit says:

I would like to know, what type of rehabilitation program do they have in the entire Correctional Facilities. How do you employ Case Workers or Social Workers. Oh! I know it depends on Govt. HR Department sending applications to the Director of that Department, and if I know you or one of your family members or have some social interaction with you, I will short list you and interview you and than see that you get the position. Unfortunately this happens throughout Government hiring. That’s why we dont get the best of the best. Or maybe it is a family connection, since we have a lot of that happening in Bermuda. Do you know there is a family connection from the HR Dept. to a high up officer of the Civil Dept.to a member of Parliament, to a Senator, that are all first cousins( each one of them have a parent that is siblings). Imagine that and how the circle of family and friends can get employed under that connection. Surnames are different for all but blood line is the same. Just go to a wedding or funeral sometime and than do the research, it is easy to paper trail. Plus they all embrace the same political party as quiet as that is kept.

The Commissioner and the Minister are so quick to highlight themselves when there is something positive coming out of Correctional Facilites. But were are they at times like this. We the Public want to hear from you.

  13. Will says:

gang rape in prison is a serious issue..just didnt think that the tough ‘gangstas’ are into that…lol Harford is a f$%
