Photo Set #2: St David’s Gilbert Lamb Day
A large crowd turned out on Good Friday [Mar 29] at the Gilbert Lamb Family Fun Day that took place at the St David’s Cricket Club.
The annual event saw a host of events including a tug-of-war contest, Michael Jackson dance display, hot dog eating competition, beer drinking competition, kite flying, bike racing and of course the famous Mohawk Grand Prix Go-Kart race.
Vendors were on hand with goods for sale, including the traditional holiday fare of hot cross buns and fishcakes. You can view all our coverage of the annual Gilbert Lamb Family Fun Day here, and all our coverage of Good Friday here.

st davids ,,,,best place to be in bermuda on good friday
What I love seeing is everyone getting together and just having a good time. No fighting, no trouble…This is how Bermuda should be all the time! Stop the fighting and have a good time with one another everyone!!!
Oh my goodness, what fantastic memories this brings back to me from the 1960′s. St.Davids cricket club and county cricket were a joy to behold. I was lucky enough to meet Garfield Sobers[SIR) at the club. As for the Lamb brothers and Grover’s stand, Any one that was lucky enough to have ever visited there will know exactly what I am talking about.
I was lucky enough to spend some very informative times with all of them.
That looks like a lotta fun! Honestly, I have never heard of the Gilbert Lamb Family Fun Day before, how long has it been going on? One thing’s for sure, I’m definitely gonna attend next year! I love car races!
