Ryan Roberts Wins Tournament In Georgia
Bermuda’s Ryan Roberts won his own Green Jacket in Masters week by winning the Professional Golfers Career College end of term Tournament held at Savannah Quarters Country Club a mere 125 miles from Augusta, GA.
Roberts shot a personal tournament best of 5-under par 67 for a come from behind victory having been 4 shots behind the overnight leader.Day one saw Roberts shoot 4-over par 76 the highlight being a hole-in-one, but sadly with his second ball after putting his tee shot in the water on the island green 15th hole. Day two, with 4 shots to make up, Roberts did everything right and had 5 Birdies and 13 pars to capture the title by 3 shots.
Roberts is a rising junior at the Professional Golfers Career College in Bluffton, SC.
