  1. Serious though says:

Some of these events are created, sponsored by local companies indpendent of BDOT. Cup is no brainier, for innovation, I rate the new BDOT An D-,

“Sizzling Summer” activities… who is Crockwell, DREB’s protege…? Have you no creativity at all?! Are we still under the influence of DREB? Sure appears that way…. almost everything the OBA is doing in Tourism seems like a carry-on from plp days. What’s with that, OBA?… got no ideas of your own?! Are there ANY new faces in the DoT?! ANY new ideas at all?!

they should hire the right people but like that would ever happen, sigh.

Got that one right. The DOT was bad under the UBP. It went to worse under the PLP. The DOT needs a good clean out & replace with people who actually have had first hand experience in tourism, not career civil servants just putting in time waiting for retirement day.

so true. there are so many people out there that would do so much better than most of them in that office. and gosh dont talk about the nyc office. i went there last year and the staff where hopeless.
