Photos #2: Catlin End To End Walk/Cycle/Swim
Walkers, cyclists, swimmers and more took part in today’s [May 4] fundraising event, which started at 8am in St George’s with the End to End, while the Middle to End Route started from both Albouys Point [walkers] and Elbow Beach Hotel [cyclists].
Every year, on the first Saturday in May, around 2,500 people walk, cycle, or use other methods to make their way across the island, in order to raise funds for local charities. Wow! Such a great turn out. Congratulations to all 2,700 of the participants and to the 500 volunteers who helped run the event. This shows incredible community spirit! I’m so proud to be a Bermudian.
My 86 year old aunt cycled from Knapton Hill to Dockyard after receiving a pacemaker for her heart 2 or 3 months ago.
What a wonderful achievement. , when I have difficulty walking to the bus stop.

Yes, that’s as iPads don’t support flash. You will need to look at them on a regular PC or different tablet.
