BCB Premier Cricket Division Weekend Results

A number of cricket games took place this past weekend, with Southampton Rangers, St. David’s Cricket Club, Somerset Bridge, Cleveland County and Somerset Cricket Club all recording wins.

Southampton Rangers Win by 253 Runs: Southampton Rangers 391/7 Western Stars 138

At the Southampton Oval, Southampton Rangers won the toss and elected to bat, they scored 391/7 in their allotted 50 overs, Ian Armstrong was their top scorer with 89, Dion Stovell added 76 and Shannon Raynor scored 49. Phillip Thomas was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers returning figures of 10-0-88-4.

In reply Raymond Butterfield scored 43 for Western Stars as they were bowled all out for 138. Wayne Campbell added 24, Janeiro Tucker was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 8-3-20-3, while Derrick Brangman had figures of 9-1-30-3.

St. David’s Cricket Club Win by 3 Wickets: St. George’s Cricket Club 161 St. David’s Cricket Club 164/7

At the Wellington Oval, St. George’s Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled all out for 161, Onias Bascome was the top scorer with 72, Bascome faced 56 balls in his knock hitting six fours and three sixes. Del Hollis was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 10-0-43-3.

In reply the St. David’s Cricket Club scored 164/7, Fiqre Crockwell was the top scorer with 65 not out, while Wilbur Burt was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 10-2-21-3.

Somerset Bridge Win by 43 Runs:Somerset Bridge 135 PHC 91

At the White Hill Field, Somerset Bridge were bowled all out for 135 after batting first. Ryan Sheppard was the top scorer with 50, while PHC’s fourteen year old Kacy Greene was the pick of the bowlers returning figures of 6-0-23-5.

In reply PHC were bowled all out for 91, Colin Stewart was the top scorer with 19, while Donnie Charles was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers returning figures of 8-1-22-4, while Sheppard bowled 3-0-11-2.

Match Postponed: Devonshire Recreation Club 0/0 Willow Cuts 0/0

At the Devonshire Recreation Club this match was called off after the wicket was deemed unsafe after heavy rain.

Cleveland County Win by 12 Runs: Cleveland County 226/7 Bailey’s Bay 214

Bailey’s Bay won the toss and sent Cleveland County to bat, Cleveland County scored 226/7, Damali Bell was the top scorer with 57, while Treadwell Gibbons added 53. Calvin Dill was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers returning figures of 10-0-24-1.

In reply Stephen Outerbridge scored 89 runs as Bailey’s Bay were bowled all out for 214, Lateef Trott added 31. Dennis Musson was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 10-0-51-4, while Gibbons bowled 10-7-9-1.

Somerset Cricket Club Win by 6 Wickets: Warwick Workmen’s 110 Somerset Cricket Club 112/4

At the Somerset Cricket Club, Warwick Workmen’s won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled all out for 110, Lionel Cann was their top scorer with 41, Jacobi Robinson was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 6-0-26-4.

In reply the Somerset Cricket Club scored 112/4. Joshua Gilbert was the top scorer with 27 not out, while Kwasi James added 25 not out, Kani Darrell was the pick of the Warwick Workmen’s bowlers with figures of 7-1-37-3.
