BCB Premier Cricket Division Weekend Results

A number of cricket games took place this past weekend, with Southampton Rangers, Western Stars, Willow Cuts, PHC, Bailey’s Bay and Cleveland County all recording wins.

Southampton Rangers Win by 9 Wickets: Warwick Workmen’s 71 Southampton Rangers 72/1

At the Southampton Oval, Warwick Workmen’s won the toss and elected to bat, turning down the opportunity to give their young bowlers a chance to attack a strong Southampton Rangers team. Warwick Workmen’s were bowled all out for 71, with player/coach Lionel Cann their top scorer with 37, Dwayne Adams added 19. Derrick Brangman was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers returning figures of 8.2-2-22-7, while captain Dion Stovell bowled 6-3-25-3.

In reply the Southampton Rangers scored 72/1, with Curtis Jackson the top scorer with 31 not out, while Brangman added 19 not out.

Western Stars Win by 5 Wickets: Somerset Bridge 93 Western Stars 96/5

At the St. John’s Field, Somerset Bridge won the toss and elected to bat they were bowled all out for 93. Kevin Lambe was their top scorer with 17 not out, while Brian Hall returned figures of 7-3-6-4 for Western Stars. Seth Campbell bowled 7-0-25-3.

In reply Western Stars scored 96/5, Hall was the top scorer with 32 not out, while Tamiko Wilson added 20, Derek Hill was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 3-1-14-2.

Willow Cuts Win by 190 Runs: Willow Cuts 286/8 Somerset Cricket Club 96

The Somerset Cricket Club won the toss at the White Hill Field and sent Willow Cuts to bat, Malachi Jones scored 108 runs to lead them to a total of 286/8, Ricardo Brangman added 68. Kamal Easton was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 9-0-58-4.

In reply Willow Cuts bowled the Somerset Cricket Club all out for 96, Joshua Gilbert was the top scorer with 26, while David Adams returned bowling figures of 10-2-28-4, while Jones bowled 7-3-6-3.

PHC Win by 35 Runs: PHC 211/9 St. George’s Cricket Club 176

PHC won the toss and elected to bat at the PHC Stadium, they scored 211/9, with Colin Stewart their top batsman with 46, while Kevin Dill added 33, Micah Simmons returned bowling figures of 10-0-42-3 for the St. George’s Cricket Club.

In reply the St. George’s Cricket Club were bowled all out for 176, Chea Foggo was the top scorer with 49, while Oronde Bascome added 33, Stewart was the pick of the PHC bowlers with figures of 9-1-31-5, while Charles Trott bowled 9-1-46-3.

Bailey’s Bay Win by 7 Wickets: Flatt’s Victoria 81 Bailey’s Bay 83/3

At Lord’s in St. David’s, Flatt’s Victoria won the toss and decided to bat, there were bowled all out for 81, Logan Phillips was the top scorer with 19, while Regino Smith added 10. Lateef Trott was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 6-1-24-4, while Kyle Hodsoll, Burton Outerbridge and Ryan Steede all grabbed two wickets each.

In reply Bailey’s Bay scored 83/3, Sinclair Raynor-Smith was the top scorer with 24 not out, while Ryan Steede added 23. Paul Carr, Kijuan Franks and Phillips all grabbed a wicket each.

Cleveland County Win by 297 Runs: Cleveland County 379/4 Devonshire Recreation Club 82

At the Wellington Oval, Cleveland County won the toss and elected to bat, Damon Rabain was the top scorer with 144 not out, Rabain faces 146 balls hitting 13 fours and 9 sixes, Jason Anderson added 96 and Allan Douglas Jr. scored 60. Dennis Williams had figures of 5-0-46-1 for the Devonshire Recreation Club.

In reply the Devonshire Recreation Club were bowled all out for 82, Mike Levon was their top scorer with 24, while Williams added 21, Shakai Darrell returned figures of 7-3-22-4, while Dennis Musson Jr. bowled 3-1-9-3.
