East End Store To Host Charity Drive & Giveaway
A2Z Shoes and Accessories in St. George’s will be hosting a charity drive giving free clothing to families in need on Sunday [June 23].
Store owner Angel Burgess said, “As the season changes, we all throw out the clothes that are too big.
“I am challenging everyone to donate the clothes they no longer want or need. In these difficult times your trash is someone else’s treasure.
“With that said on Saturday June 22th from 1.00pm – 4.00pm I am asking that people drop off their gently worn clothing and/or goods they no longer want to A2Z.
“On Sunday 23rd at A2Z from 1.00pm – 4.00pm I will have a drive offering the items to people that are in need.
“I am also asking that anyone with children that need community hours take part in this event. Those interested are asked to call the shop at 293-1329″.
The store is located at 14 York Street in the Town of St George’s.
