Bermuda Stock Exchange Report: July 22 2013
Today [July 22] saw the week kick off with a rise in the BSX to close at 1,146.59, up 5.71 or 0.50%. 22,726 shares BD at a value of $159,075.70 traded while 1,551 shares US at a value of $17,293.65 changed hands.
Bank of Butterfield common shares moved 3,000 but remained at $12.00 and Bermuda National moved 5,000 but also remained even at $12.00 at the end of the session. BF&M — which announced its exemption from the 60/40 rule today — saw 670 shares trade and this moved the price up 4.5% to close $17.05.
Lastly KeyTech had 14,056 shares traded on the day moving the price up 0.05% to close at $5.95. There were 3 Advances, 0 Declines and 71 stocks remained Unchanged.
