David Hemp Coaches Solihull Cricket Team

July 10, 2013

David Hemp of BermudaThe hopes of the Solihull School cricket team and its native England will be resting on the shoulders of former Bermuda and Glamorgan captain David Hemp, a local cricket star who has since gone on to become the Master in charge of the prestigious school’s cricket team.

The Solihull squad will be heading off to Barbados with Hemp at the helm for the Sir Garfield Sobers International Cricket Tournament, the school’s fourth foray to the event.

Consisting of 13 players with ages ranging from 14 to 18, many commentators believe that the team will have a real chance at finishing first, thanks in large part to the expertise and experience brought to the table by their Bermudian coach.

The Sir Garfield Sobers International Cricket Tournament will run through July 27, 2013, with the event’s final results being decided on that day.
