Groundswell Lionfish Tournament On July 20

The 2013 Groundswell Lionfish Tournament will take place on Saturday [July 20] at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. The tournament starts at sunrise and boats must be at the BIOS dock for the 3.00pm weigh-in.

There is a $25 entry fee to take part in the tournament and registration is available on the www.reefspect.com website where the application form can be downloaded then dropped off at Marine Locker with the entry fee.

Attendance to the event at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences is free and starts at 2.30pm with activities scheduled until 8.00pm. Included in the evening’s lineup is lionfish tasting, lionfish handling, live music, Goslings bar and more.
