Man Pleads Guilty: Assaulting Pregnant Woman
Keino Lambert appeared in Magistrates Court this morning [July 3] and pleaded guilty to hitting his pregnant girlfriend.
The Court heard that Lambert, 22, was arrested for unlawfully assaulting his girlfriend on July 2nd.
He was said to have slapped the woman, while she was holding their child, causing her face to bleed. She ran next door to a neighbour’s house and called the police who then arrested Lambert.
Lambert — who is presently on bail for another matter — was remanded into custody until August.

I take it both are true. She is pregnant and was holding a baby.
I hope he gets jail time.

I was the opposite-I was a monster when I was pregnant and I was the one who did the slapping. I don’t condone it but I had real rage issues. My poor husband…I have a really good man-he never lifted a hand to hit me back. He’s twice my size and could have easily taken me out but didn’t. Real men don’t hit women.

Ive just learned pregnant women can be crazy, you cant always blame the guy, even though it is wrong to hit women, some women have too much mouth and know just the right things to say to press a man’s buttons. As a man that has never hit a woman I feel the women of these days dont have respect for men and dont realize men have emotional breaking points too. And we cant never win an argument with y’all so things escalate quickly.
