Photos: Women’s Football BDA vs Greenland

Local football fans made their way to the National Sports Centre on Sunday [July 14] to watch the Bermuda mens and womens football teams take on Greenland.

The Bermuda women’s team played the first match of the night, where they romped to a 5-1 victory. Bermuda got goals from Cheyra Bell, Tschana Wade, Akelya Furburt, Aaliya Nolan and Jessica Furtado, while Laila Platou scored the lone goal for Greenland.

The Bermuda men’s team kept up the winning form, defeating Greenland 3-0. The Bermuda women will take on Hitra on Monday, while the Bermuda men will match up against the Falkland Islands. Both games will be played at the National Sports Center, with the women’s game taking at 6pm, and the men’s game at 8pm.
