  20. black men says:

based on our size: there are a few things that should now worry this community:

The number of black men who are dying on our Roads
The number of black men who are dying as a result of gun violence
The number of black men in Jail
the number of black men on Drugs,

this is creating a community problem that will have major generation impact as it means that so many of our children are being raised without fathers present.

When you take a group of men out of the community you destablize it.

This is reference is not to cast blame on anyone or to make this point a political football.

I guess I am captain obvious but we may have reached a tipping point.

The racial makeup of Bermuda will give you all those answers for the most part. Use your head lol.

shut up about black men this black that. get the colour out of your eyes.

people like you make the world a bad place to live!

  21. Charter says:

I feel sorry for this family.

So many accidents on Harbour Road these days. Why? Because people know the police never go on Harbour Road.

  22. Triangle Drifter says:

So many roads could be made so much safer with simple banking on corners as found on roads of any civilised place. This is particularly important to cycles & Bermuda has a very percentage of cycles on our roads.

Yes, I know, that also makes corners safer at higher speeds but almost every corner here is either flat or banked away from the turn.

Would this deadly crash have happened if that Harbour Road was banked? Who knows but there is a chance proper road banking might have turned a fatality into a serious injury.

    • inna says:

or we could all just go the speed limit?

      • Somerset says:

No matter if all our roads are made safe and we stick to the speed limit, when it’s our turn….it’s our turn.

      • time for change says:

your comment shows how frickin stupid you are. shut up

        • smh very stupid comment from somerset, but i say this every family has their turn. this is so sad, i pray for his family & friends especially his son & T— my cousin. my God put his arms around all, I’ve been there & no its not easy, this is something i will live through the rest of my life. RIP

        • Somerset says:

And it shows how naïve you are. You never seem to make any constructive comments so I can’t even tell you to shut up……you’re just stupid.

  23. Sloane says:

Avonn was a really nice guy. My sincerest condolences to his family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

  24. CONCERNED says:

I am very uncomfortable with single vehicle fatalities – bring back memories of a very dear friends death three years ago – investigation and all, nothing, no witnesses nothing. My heart is still heavy.

  25. Wenkitah Davis says:

This is very sad news :( Avonn was my classmate at Berkeley Institute. On behalf of everyone that started in 1985, came in between and graduated in 1990 we’re thinking of you. The Form, The East, The West and The F. Respice Finem!
My sincere condolences to his family.

  26. Sylvia Burgess says:

Heart felt condolences to the Family, sons, daughters and all loved ones of this young man, May he rest in peace.

  27. Sapphire says:

I was told he passed away on his birthday but no-one seems to be reporting that. The police were asking about his whereabouts so I’d think this fact might be vital as to if he was out ‘celebrating’ beforehand. I know shallow thinkers will attack this comment but I’m not making trouble-I think this fact is important to his possible state before the accident and also it makes this so much more tragic.

    RIP.

  28. empera says:

My bredren brownie RIP..prayer to the brown family..bless.

  29. cousin says:

I have been praying since I first heard the news, for strength for he victims family and friends. On another note people please stop being insensitive at a time like this.

  30. nuffsaid says:

    —-

May the Browne family find peace and strength at this time of their untimely loss. It seems at times that life is so unfair. Stay strong family. Namaste.

    RIP Brownie.

  31. so sad, my prayers go out to the whole family & friends @ this time, may God give you all the comfort from this day forward, cousin T—- hang in there & know that I am always here for you ok.

  32. nuffsaid says:
