Around The Island Powerboat Race This Sunday
The 2013 Around the Island Powerboat Race will be held this Sunday [Aug 11] starting at 2pm in Ferry Reach, with the list of race entrants expected to be released later this week.
The organisers have asked that the public be mindful of the boats traveling at high speeds between 2 and 3pm on Sunday, and also noted that they are are still looking for crash boat volunteers, especially for the South Shore area. Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Andrew Osborne on 333-1260 or Jody Carreiro on 504-5639.
