The Bermuda Rowing Association held their 2013 End of Summer Camp Regatta in the Hamilton Harbour this past weekend.
Competing in the Ladies Double Sculls, Bethany Yates and Eleanor Gardner defeated Anita Yates and Jennifer Wingate by 5 lengths, while Jacinto Brown got the better of Tyriq Brown in the Junior Single sculls by 4 lengths.
In the Men’s Double Sculls Willie Forbes and Jacinto Brown defeated Michael Swain and Benjamin Williams by 3 lengths, while in the Men’s Single Sculls Michael Swain edged Will Porteous by less than a boat length.
Jacinto Brown and Tyriq Brown defeated Willie Forbes and Benjamin Williams in Men’s Double Sculls action by 4 lengths, while in Ladies Single Sculls action Bethany Yates crossed the line 2 boat lengths ahead of Anita Yates.
Swimmer Eleanor Gardner defeated Jennifer Wingate in the Ladies Novice Single Sculls Division by 3 lengths, with Michael Swain and Bethany Yates edging Anita Swain and Will Porteous by a nose in Mixed Double Sculls action.
In the Mixed Double Sculls Division Eleanor Gardner and Tyriq Brown defeated Jennifer Wingate and Willie Forbes by 2 lengths.
