This past weekend [Aug 24/25] a number of cricket games were scheduled to take place, however Mother Nature stepped in and all the matches were abandoned due to heavy rain.

The St. David’s Cricket Club were crowned the Premier Division Champions after their game against Willow Cuts was abandoned due to rain.

Match Abandoned Due to Rain: Cleveland County 0/0 St. George’s Cricket Club 0/0

At the Wellington Oval, heavy rain flooded the field with the groundsman ruling that he would be unable to prepare the pitch for play.

Match Abandoned Due to Rain: Bailey’s Bay 0/0 Southampton Rangers 0/0

With the abandonment of this game at the Sea Breeze Oval, the St. David’s Cricket Club will win the Premier Division 50 over League.

A waterlogged Lord’s field in St. David’s had this game also called off due to rain.
