Upcoming: Daddy Daughter Princess Dance

Tiaras and bow ties will be the order of the day at the Daddy Daughter Princess Dance being held on Saturday, September 28 at Washington House on Church Street.

“Heart and Soul Productions in collaboration with Kids in Action are bringing to Bermuda a father daughter magical event like never before”, a spokesperson said.

“On Saturday Sept 28th we will see Washington House in the city of Hamilton come alive. Tiaras & Bow Ties will feature live princesses from far, far away. Cinderella, Aladdin’s Princess Jasmine & The Little Mermaid will perform songs from their favorite movies for all the little princesses in Bermuda.

“This child friendly event is designed to focus on the interaction between fathers and daughters (or nieces, granddaughters, goddaughters or other special little lady) with special interactive activities, dancing, and photo opportunities during the evening. We welcome all daughters between the ages of 4-16.

“We are very grateful to the management of Washington Properties for allowing us the use of the site as they agree that this is a wonderful event and are pleased that proceeds will benefit the Bermuda Hospitals Charitable Trust “Why it Matters Campaign” and Childwatch.

“Tiaras & Bow Ties will have local businesses donating services such as a makeup station, nail painting station, tiara station, balloon station and food station and more.

“Local appearances include Keya Fun Approach Dancers, Mr. Magic, DJ Selecta Fray, commentator Craig Simons and other local dancers, performers and guest speakers.

“The aim of Tiaras & Bow Ties is to:

• Provide a child friendly, fun event designed to make our daughters and girls feel like the princesses they truly are;
• To be a night of celebration and engagement that will impact families in a special way.”
