Junior Golf Association Starts Registration

September 13, 2013

The Bermuda Junior Golf Association caters for golfers of all abilities from the ages of 8 to 18. On Saturday, 14 September, they are starting the registration for the 2013/14 season with an information session and prize giving to close out the 2012/13 season. The event will be from 3:30 to 6:30 at the Port Royal Golf Course.

For all returning Novice players and all potential new members, there is a rolling information session from 3:30 to 5:00. Families can arrive between 3:30 and 4:45 and meet with the BJGA representatives to receive information on the programme and the process for registration, which will all be done online starting from the evening of 14 September. Potential new members who are accomplished golfers may try-out between these times to determine the appropriate group for them. The first week of lessons will start on Friday, 27 September.

For all returning Intermediate and Tournament Players, they are requested to be at Port Royal for 5:00pm. There will be a demonstration of the Merit Award testing criteria beginning at 5:00, then an information session and prize giving beginning at 5:30 in the clubhouse. Play for the Intermediates will begin on 28 September and for the Tournament Player group on the 21 September.
