PALS To Host “Mad Hair Day” On Sept 27
P.A.L.S. will be holding its second Annual Mad Hair Day fundraising event on Friday, 27th September 2013, with people asked to donate $5 to the charity and wear their hair in a mad or crazy way for the day.
A spokesperson said, “It is all in good fun to support P.A.L.S. whose annual expenses now exceed $1.2 million.”
“Some of the suggestions are to wear wigs, funny hats, or scarves, big ties and funky glasses, crazy hair creations and designs or big ribbons and head bands; in fact anything that would be considered whacky or wild. ”
P.A.L.S. is a registered charity founded in 1980 to provide professional hands on care and support to cancer patients primarily in their own homes. The services of P.A.L.S. nurses are given free of charge and include pain and symptom control, counseling, dressing changes and whatever is needed in the care of each patient. They also supply, free of charge, an array of medical equipment including electric beds, wheelchairs, walkers etc.

My hair is MAD everyday!
I only wish I still had hair to get mad!
On balmy days I look like a dandelion head, this after using multiple products, water etc. Let the wind be blowing and whoosh. All in good fun for a worthwhile charity and the hard working folk of PALS.
