Aspen Reinsurance Appoints Jamie Lewis
Aspen Reinsurance, the reinsurance segment of Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited, appointed Jamie Lewis as Head of its Casualty Reinsurance business in London.
Jamie Lewis will be responsible for developing Aspen Re’s book of Casualty reinsurance treaty and facultative business written from London, including both the US and International Casualty portfolios. The London-based underwriters for the various Casualty lines will report to him.

Lewis will be joining Aspen Re on November 1, 2013. He is currently President, IronHealth International, Ironshore Europe Ltd, where he is responsible for building IronHealth’s brand in the London market as well as developing its international healthcare capabilities.
He was previously Active Underwriter at Renaissance Reinsurance Syndicate Management Ltd [Lloyd’s Syndicate 1458] and prior to that, he was Vice President with Renaissance Reinsurance in Bermuda. He had previously held senior underwriting roles with S.J. Helson [Lloyd’s], S.J.O. Catlin [Lloyd’s] and various others in the London market.
