  1. blueman tech says:

Match fitness is what the team needs and that is what they are getting

  2. Word for the day... says:

The day when the United States of America beats a British Colony at cricket, is the day when Bermuda needs to stop wasting money on sending these woffless boys around the world to embarrassing us.

  3. Word for the day... says:

    *embarrass*

  4. Really??? says:

What a complete waste of time. Lets start picking the young, fit, energetic youth that want to represent Bermuda and not just looking for a free trip to embarrass themselves and the little small island of Bermuda!!!! The board needs to step down!!!!!!! All of them before the youth get tired and we have to play the Hemps, Tuckers, and Can’s for another 10 years!!!!! The BCB are not just embarrassing themselves but the Bermudians as well which follow the cricket team through their endeavors.

    • Reverse Sweep says:

Being young energetic and wanting to represent their country is one thing but in actuality once they get their opportunity, they crumble.I have witnessed it myself, when they get on tour and see how fast the opposition bowl or how good they bat, the excuses come out and the imaginary injuries start to appear! Injuries that one should get when PLAYING not as a RESERVE!! If you think that the results are embarrassing with the three senior players in the team, you are in for a rude awakening without them!!!! If you don’t believe me ask the youngsters themselves. Ask them if they would rather play without those guys you named. I bet you would be very surprised!!

  5. Concerned says:

No take Warriors that is why they lost – how can you take a team that are not 20/20 champions, Leage champions and County Cup Champions. BCBC needs to crack a whip and get things in order

    • Reverse Sweep says:

I must agree with you! We take a team to represent Bermuda and only one player from St Davids CC(League,20/20 and County champions)was selected, something sounds fishy!

  6. Reverse Sweep says:

UM do you realize this is the world cup qualifiers?? #1 This is not costing US taxpayers as these are tours are funded by the ICC!!! #2 The players you have named have a better batting average in domestic and international level!! there are more than enough youngsters in the team and have been given the opportunity but have yet to produce! Given the population of cricketers we have on the island compared to other countries,we don’t have a whole lot of talent that can play at the next level. As a former cricketer, cricket is one sport that if you don’t have the talent,no amount of training or exposure will change that! As you can tell by the results the younsters didn’t do to great themselves. The players you named are the backbone of the team and contribute greatly in other areas! I would not like to see the team without these players, proven game winners or the results would be much worst than they are now!! As a read your comments again they seem PERSONAL,as for that I have no comment, but to say that Janeiro,Hemp and lionel(Leading the batting/bowling averages in the team) shouldn’t be on the team is ridiculous!!!

  7. Really??? says:

Again Bermuda is a joke. To reverse sweep, WAKE UP, and nothing I write is personal but the truth. Plane and simple, can somebody tell me if this team will hammer Bermuda and I was going to pick some players already in the squad but I won’t and the team I pick will still hammer Bermuda. Rodney Trott (capt), OJ Pitcher, Macai Simmons, Justan Pitcher, Delyone Borden, Oronde Bascome, Onias Bascome, Okera Bascome, Jason Anderson, Zeko Burgess, Allen Douglas. This team will beat Bermuda and if nobody be-leaves me have these two teams play each other in a warm up and my point will be proven!!!!!
