Man Denies Smuggling Drugs, Candy Into Prison
A 25-year-old man who was charged with allegedly smuggling drugs and candy into Westgate Correctional Facility is now a guest of the facility having been remanded into custody.
Jovon Virgil appeared in Magistrates Court this morning [Oct 21] where he denied the charges, with the Court hearing he was allegedly spotted smuggling items including cannabis, cannabis resin, heroin and candy into the prison.
He was remanded in custody by Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo.
